Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient form of medicine, developed in China several thousand years ago. It involves the insertion of very small, thin needles into specific points located on various parts of the body (meridians). The needles are designed to release vital life force energy, which reduces pain, increases stamina, boosts the immune system, and boosts the immune system, and helps the body heal itself.
Based on careful diagnosis, a practitioner is able to develop a treatment plan and strategy which is specific to a person's needs. Acupuncture is holistic, treating the whole person, not just symptoms. It is frequently referred to as "mind, body, spirit" medicine because it treats a person's physical, emotional/mental, and spiritual concerns. Acupuncture may be combined with Chinese herbs, heat therapy and nutrition. Together, they are known as Chinese medicine.
